This antique 19th Century Wood Steamer Trunk belonged to my granddad and he acquired it from the old O’Connor Estate in the 1940s. O’Connor Drive is named after them. The estate still stands and is now a seniors residence on the corner of O’Connor and Broadview in Toronto. It is originally from the late 1800s so it does hold some value as an antique piece.
It’s cladded in metal and riveted together. It measures 19″ wide by 33″ long by 24″ high. The inside is just plane wood, great for storage.
